ISOL-Coretech: Korea's MRI Technology Pioneer

Representing Korea’s industrial heritage and next-generation ambitions in medical imaging, ISOL-Coretech is a leading MRI technology company with over two decades of expertise in system development and strong in-house capabilities across core components.

By combining proven engineering excellence with innovative partnership models, we deliver advanced, reliable and cost-effective diagnostic imaging solutions optimized for emerging and mid-income healthcare markets worldwide.

A Legacy of Innovation and Technological Sovereignty

ISOL-Coretech traces its origins to Korea’s first generation of MRI engineers with deep roots in the former LG and MEDISON MRI development teams.

This distinguished heritage led to the successful commercialization of Korea’s firstdomestically developed 0.35T, 0.5T, and 1.5T MRI systems and later to the deployment of advanced 3.0T MRI platforms.

To strengthen technological sovereignty, ISOL-Coretech has internalized critical subsystems—including magnets and advanced MRI components—which now form the foundation of our fully integrated organization. This vertical integration reflects decades of accumulated knowledge and engineering excellence, positioning us as a true technology leader in the global medical imaging industry.

Our heritage is not defined by history alone, but by the continuous evolution of expertise, the seamless transfer of knowledge across generations of engineers and an unwavering commitment to advancing Korea’s position in the global medical technology landscape.

We have evolved from technology adopters to technology innovators, delivering proven imaging systems that combine clinical excellence with the cost-efficiency essential for emerging healthcare markets.

End-to-End MRI Value Chain Control

ISOL-Coretech’s core strength lies in its comprehensive control of the entire MRI value chain. Unlike assembly-based manufacturers that rely heavily on external suppliers, we design, develop and manufacture key MRI subsystems in-house, ensuring superior quality, cost competitiveness, and long-term supply-chain stability.

This vertically integrated capability also enables high adaptability to diverse local clinical requirements and regulatory environments across global markets.

Competitive Advantage: Our vertically integrated structure eliminates intermediary markups, ensures stable and reliable access to critical components, and enables rapid customization to meet regional market requirements—key advantages that assembly-based competitors cannot replicate.
